Celebrating Holy Week and Easter
Enter the Story: An Invitation to
Holy Week
As we approach the most profound week in the Christian calendar, we invite you to walk alongside us through the sacred journey from Christ's passion to the triumph of Easter morning. Each service offers a unique opportunity to reflect, remember, and rejoice.
Our Holy Week Worship Schedule
Every year, Holy Week invites us to do something countercultural: slow down and enter a story that changed everything.
It begins with Palm Sunday — crowds cheering, cloaks on the road, a king riding a donkey. But beneath the celebration, the plots against Jesus are reaching their peak. What unfolds over the next seven days is the most important story ever told. And you're invited to live it with us.
Maundy Thursday | April 17 | 7 pm In person & livestreamed on YouTube
The Three Days begin. On this night, Jesus gathers with his disciples for a last meal — and does something shocking: he gets on his knees and washes their feet. The word "Maundy" comes from the Latin mandatum — "commandment" — because Jesus gave his followers a new one: love one another as I have loved you. In our worship, we confess and receive forgiveness (a fitting close to our Lenten journey), we wash feet, and we share the supper Jesus shared with his friends on the night he was handed over.
Stations of the Cross Labyrinth Walk | Good Friday | April 18 | Noon – 3 pm East lawn outdoor labyrinth — dress for the weather
Step outside and walk the path of Jesus' last day at your own pace. Each station on our outdoor labyrinth marks a moment from the journey to the cross. Come for five minutes or fifty. Bring your questions, your grief, your wonder.
Good Friday | April 18 | 7 pm In person & livestreamed on YouTube
Good Friday is a day of radical honesty. It asks: how far would God go to be with us? The answer is on the cross. "I asked Jesus, 'How much do you love me?' And Jesus said, 'This much.' Then he stretched out his arms and died." This is the service that doesn't look away.
Easter Vigil | Saturday, April 19 | 7 pm In person only
The most ancient service of the Christian year — and one of the most powerful. Beginning in darkness, the Easter Vigil unfolds in four movements: the lighting of the new fire and the Easter candle; fourteen readings that trace the entire arc of God's salvation story; the renewal of baptism; and finally, the first Eucharist of Easter. It is a full night of wonder, and worth every minute.
Easter Sunday | April 20 | 8:30 am & 11 am Easter Brunch | 9:45 am
Alleluia! He is risen! Join us for a joyful celebration at either service — and stay for Easter Brunch between them. Come hungry. Come grateful. Come celebrate.
