SALC Food Pantry: Wednesdays From 1- 3pm
Open every Wednesday, supported by the generosity of our congregation and neighbors.
Overseen by the Social Concerns ministry team.
About the Food Pantry
The Food Pantry is overseen by the Social Concerns ministry team and stocked entirely through the generosity of our congregation. We serve between 5 and 30 people each week, primarily families from the surrounding community. Our pantry reflects the changing needs of our neighbors — in recent years, we've seen more families come through our doors alongside individuals experiencing housing instability.
How to give — Food on the First
Food on the First
Each month, we invite the congregation to bring pantry donations as an offering. This is one of the most direct ways to put your generosity to work right here in our community. Items are received, blessed, and stocked in our pantry for Wednesday distribution.
The list below reflects our general ongoing needs. Each week's eblast highlights the items in highest demand at that time — check there for the most current needs. A note on donations: All items should be shelf-stable, unexpired, and in original packaging. Questions about the pantry or how to give? Contact the church office.
