I grew up in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and went to Luther College, in Decorah, IA, where I received a B.A in Religion with a minor in Psychology.  I loved my time at Luther and was really involved with the Campus Ministry in a variety of ways.  After graduation, I spent the better part of two years as a volunteer with Youth Encounter's music team ministry.  My teammates and I were so blessed to experience the church in a wide arena within the U.S. and in Southeast Asia (Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Singapore) and also in South America (Peru and Bolivia).  Through music, puppetry, and bible study, we got to meet so many incredible people and experience God's love and grace in ways I never though possible. 

 

Most recently I come from Chicago, IL where I have been studying at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago (LSTC).  My journey thus far, in learning to be a pastor, has been a very winding one, and so my "call story" may not be so typical - as such, if you really want to hear about it, just come in and ask! 

 

I am an amateur photographer, coffee is often my motivation for getting up in the morning, and seeing the mountains makes me squeal.  Please drop in any time for a cup of coffee and conversation.  I look forward to serving with you and getting to know you throughout this year.
