|
![]() Sunday SchoolOn Sunday mornings at 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. during the school year we have Sunday School for children ages 3 through high school. Younger children may go to the nursery and adults have a variety of classes from which to choose. Click here to download a registration form. (Each family also needs a Youth Information Form on file.) Children in Preschool through 5 begin in the Glass Room, Middle Schoolers meet in Room 1, and High Schoolers meet in the Youth Room.
In our elementary classes, we use an activity-based, hands-on program to help our children learn Bible stories and experience the love of Jesus. Please join us!
This year's family focus: Rituals and Traditions
This school year we are lifting up the importance of rituals and traditions for passing on the faith to our young people. This is one of the “Four Keys” for nurturing the faith of our youth. The other keys are intergenerational service, family devotions, and caring conversation.
Rituals and traditions are things that we do over and over again that give meaning and value to our life and relationships. They root us in the faith and help us feel secure. Some examples are Sunday worship, bedtime prayers, birthday parties, and taking first-day-of-the-school-year photos.
This school year we’ll be inviting you to share some of your traditions and rituals in various ways. On Rally Day we’ll be making blessing bowls and stones, which can be used for a ritual of sharing meaningful conversation with your family.
