Worship Services

Jesus calls us…
to lives full of worship and praise.

In our worship we gather together as the community in Christ to be uplifted and to be fed by the Word and Sacrament. Services at St. Andrew are liturgical in shape with both traditional and contemporary musical styles.
Children are encouraged to attend services.

The Worship and Music Team helps to organize weekly Sunday services as well as seasonal Wednesday services. They also support the work of each of the musical groups, worship leaders and assistants, the altar guild and all artistic expressions.

Old Testament Sermon Series

Broken People, Healing God—Stories From the Old Testament picks up where the summer series left off. The Sunday sermons draw from the following verses, which the Tuesday morning Bible study parallels. The series includes:

  • Sunday, Sept. 14—Passage Through the Sea
    (Exodus 14:19-31)
  • Sunday, Sept. 21—Manna and Quails
    (Exodus 16:2-15)
  • Sunday, Sept, 29—Testing the Lord
    (Exodus 17:1-7)
  • Sunday, Oct. 5—Ten Commandments
    (Exodus 20)

Weekly Services

Worship with Holy Communion
Sunday, 8:30 am and 11:00 am
Nursery available through age 5.

Communion is offered to all who desire this gift of God. We believe that communion is a means of grace where Jesus is present; in, with, and under the bread and wine. There is a children's chat during both the 8:30 and 11:00 am Sunday services and coloring boards are provided.

Second Sundays: Youth Sunday. St Andrew youth take leadership roles during the services on the second Sundays of the month.

Third Sundays: Revival Sounds leads both services.

Sunday School and Adult Education calasses meet at 9:45 between services.

Taizé Prayer Service
Sunday, 6:00 p.m.

Services in the style of Taizé are reflective worship services of prayer and silence that involve about forty minutes of singing chants, reading scripture, and praying aloud and silently.

Prayer Around the Cross service instead of Taizé on Second Sundays at 6:00 pm.
